blog 2 Define analysis

Gee, teaches the seven building tasks of language one by one.  He then poses a discourse analysis question.  I observed that the discourse analysis question is formulated as an investigation( a hypothesis).  As I further read, I learned that I was correct in figuring out that a discourse analysis is a hypothesis.  We also went over it in class.  The seven building tasks are linked to each other and to me this means that they all can exist in a given situation.
